So what the hell is 777? Well, if you sit down and listen, I’ll tell you.
777 is our chance to give respect to a group that has played a large roll in our development as not only designers, but as human beings. 777 is our opportunity to showcase the talented artists of Los Angeles. Early in the genesis of Everyday Villains as a brand we decided that we were going to do an event with artists that was a little different. On September 27th you will see that event come to life in the form of 777.
With help from our friends we were able to commission 7 of Los Angeles’ most notorious artists to create unique pieces based on the 7 designs of our forthcoming season. Each piece will be displayed at the event next to the shirt from which the artist drew their inspiration. It’s our way of showing how much artists have an effect on our design aesthetic. We’ve always said we wanted to create a line of clothing where our customers feel as thought they are wearing a work of art on their chest. At 777 we plan to blur the lines between art and design.
Over the course of the next three weeks we will be unveiling the 7 featured artists as well as the 7 designs of our season 2 lineup. Additionally we will be adding information about the spaces, places and people involved with 777.
We invite everyone to come to the event. Please RSVP on our main page at www.everydayvillains.com as soon as possible as space is limited.
